Boiled Cauliflower with Dressing

  • 3 cups cauliflower, sliced in flowerets/stems in similar size pieces 

  • water


  • 1 tsp barley miso

  • 3 tsps tahini (organic, roasted)

  • 1 tsps grated onion

  • 2 tsps lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup water


  1. Place several inches of water in a pot and bring to a boil. Drop in small amounts of cauliflower at one time; boil for one minute; remove and drain. Repeat for the rest of cauliflower.

  2. Cook the dressing: Place the tahini, onion, lemon juice in a suribachi and grind several seconds. Add the miso and puree into a smooth paste. Then add water and puree until smooth. Can use a blender.

  3. Place each postion of cooked cauliflower on a serving platter with dressing on top.
